It happens all the time.. although we don't notice it much in general terms cause we are so busy with our lives so this reflections tends to just go over our heads.. at least that's my experience..
When you talk with somebody.. you just can't help talking about other experiences you had and vice verse to find a common ground and understanding which is exploring memories!
Say that you've experienced a very nice dinner.. that dinner sets itself in your memory bank and just screams at you to be re-lived but you know this can never happen since every moment is unique you never put the other foot exactly where you did put it the other day or a moment ago.. it's just how things work!!! Nothing fishy here..
When you wake up each morning you seem to follow the same routines and the days seem to be the same but they never are! You meet people in different orders and different things are said.. etc etc.. this is why it's so important to be here in the NOW... !
Generally this goes for god memories of course cause we don't want to re-live the "bad" memories ... , but they still happen anyway though.. every now and then..
So no wonder there is some bitter taste at the end of the rope when we are getting older wanting to re-live our memories.. this time I'm not sure that it has to be that way though... for a lot of us..
We'll see soon enough... ;)
