A couple of years back myself and my former wife went on a bike ride in a town in Southern Sweden where we lived.
We decided to stop to get an ice cream. While parking the bike I saw a littler toddler about 3-4 years old crying his eyes out... he had dropped his ice cream on the ground and was devastated.
His mom was talking on her cell phone.. a bit anxious and nervous cause they where in an crowded cafe. You know people started to stare etc etc...
So I went and bought three ice creams, my former wife asked "What are you doing?" She did not pick up the incident with the little guy so she had no clue why I suddenly bought an extra ice cream. I just told her wait and see.. with a huge grin on my face.. ! ;)
Said and done I went over to the sad little fellow and handed him the ice cream saying "This is for you!"! The wide look in his eyes and the yaw dropping look at his moms face.. where simply priceless. She didn't know what to say but still talking on the phone...
I went back to our bikes, took our other ice creams and walked away leading the bikes.. the feeling inside was awesome.. the reward was the little one stop crying and putting on a huge smile... when he got the ice cream... it has not to be harder than this. I've got loads of these small wonderful episodes in life... <3
